I find that very pathetic. More than likely, you probably beat this boy because he did something to you. But I don't think that it's right to embarress him in front of innocent people who have no part of your situation. There's no point getting the audience involved when they have no part in it.
Ask yourself how it would feel like and if you'd like it if someone did that to you? Wouldn't you feel embarressed? You should never make someone feel like that, nor should you ever do that to anyone.
