I am currently studying 3d animation at school and want to set up a dual monitor set up from my PC. The graphics card i currently have does not support a dual monitor setup. I was wondering what graphics card would be reccommended in order to set up dual monitors. i also need a graphics card that will be able to support the use of 3d animation programs as well.

It doesn't matter, just get a card that supports dual monitors. But I recommend ATI because they are the best!!

Any of today's video cards will support dual monitor. But, since you are doing 3D animation, you want to get something that is designed for 3D rendering rather than your average gaming video card.

First, what programs are you using? 3D Studio Max?

If you go to the program web sites, usually you will see some recommended video cards. FireGL and Quadro cards are popular choices. But, it's been about 5 years since I have really kept up with the latest animation programs.

no longer probable useful approximately making use of three, yet definately 2. I also have a bunch of video outs on mine, yet all of them show the comparable image, merely distinctive formats. in case you purchase some style of hardware then useful.
