DS is bulkier, has dimmer backlit light, but at least the GBA cartridge fits in the GBA slot without sticking out.
DS Lite is lighter, smaller, and just looks plain better. It also has brighter backlit light, but the GBA game sticks out, which makes it look odd.

The Nintendo DS Lite is smaller and is more up-to-date than the regular DS. However, Game Boy Advance games will NOT fit in the GBA slot. They stick out a bit, but as far as I know they play the GBA games...

The nintendo ds lite is better because it is smaller and it is an upgrate from the original ds
