I truly believe that having your picture captured in the reflection of a mirror, has a way of capturing something, I can't say that it is the soul though..it is more of a jinx...I have known 2 people that this has happened to, and now they are deceased . The most ironic thing about this is it happened accidentally. The photographs were taken in a room with a mirror and some how their reflection showed in the photo and the mirror, as though it was 2 different images of the same person in the photo.....Spooky huh?????????.

We are not these bodies,IE; race, color, nationality, religion, senses, intellect, job, etc. We are eternal spirit soul, Part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Vishnu, Jehovah, etc. A picture captures our bodily form. No one can harm the soul which is who we truly are so there is no worry of having a picture accept one may try to identify the self with the picture which is not a fact. go to krishnaculture. for details on the souls and how to connect. Read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prahbupada for all necessary answers in life.

I think I know what you're saying. But in that same sense, if you are confident in yourself and you are a pretty good person, wouldn't that be captured in the pictures as well. I have many pictures around my house of myself along with my family and I haven't suffered any ill effects of them. Or at least nothing that I could directly blame on the pictures. I hope this helps.
