It all depends on what kind of story you are looking for. I mean, there are many books out there that some people would think that it's an amazing storyline, but then others would hate the book. The only way you could be sure that you get a book with an amazing story line is pick one yourself, don't rely on others to tell you which one you should read.

Da Vinci Code is fablulous, I also recommend Northern Lights by Nora Roberts they both keep you on the edge of your seat and you can't put them down

I really enjoyed the book The Outsiders i dont know if youve read it yet but if not you should deffently check it out.

goodness, there is always 'the catcher in the rye' by Salinger. i also really enjoyed 'a condeferacy of dunces' by John Kennedy Toole, but if you are under 17 or so you might not like it...
Well, there's also 'Siddhartha' by Herman Hesse.
