People have talked mean to me and about me behind my back, but I didn't cry, I just ended up biffing them one and offered to buy them a beer afterwards.

Yup... I was working out of town on my first construction turnaround, in the timekeeping office, 84 hours a week. I'm a gymnastics and cheer coach, so I was out of my element anyway...The job was so demanding that our first supervisor quit, and was replaced by a total witch. She made some remark regarding my intelligence. Usually I am not so sensitive, but she made me cry... My boyfriend was in shock. Found out a month later that I was pregnant, I guess the hormones and the hours combined took their toll...

Yes - it was many years ago - my very first job after College. The woman was such a bully that she made several other girls cry. In time, I found the courage to stand up to her and actually put her in her place. What a great feeling that was !

I think this ugly work scene has happened to us all at one point or another. Ambitiously mean people are azzholes--but ones you can NEVER trust ever; don't let them have an opportunity to "stick you out" into trouble. But don't let them push you around, either.
If anything they say can be used in a sexual harrassment complaint--put it on them.....make THEM cry for a change.
Once they see you too can bite back, they'll hate you---but they'll back off fast too.

Yes!! I am very tenderhearted, and people have made me cry a lot. It's not very professional, I'll admit, but it happens. The older I get, the less I let those b*tches get to me. But it still does on occasion!

Nope but I made a girl cry about three weeks ago. I felt kind of bad later but in my opinion she deserved it.
