Okay, so I am 5'1 and 115 pounds. I have 36D boobs...sometimes I can wear 34D or 36C. So anyways...I'm pretty petite except for the boobs. I would rather not have surgery because it seems like so much pain and I should be happy with what I have...BUT I also want to wear any kind of shirts I want and not have to mismatch bathing suits. Sometimes if I wear the right clothing I can actually look like I have really small boobs. So, do you guys think I should just wear the right clothes and be happy or get a reduction just so my life can be a bit more convenient and I can actually love what I look like in the mirror with no clothes on...lol. My biggest fear is to be in front of my future husband and him hate what he sees. (Not engaged or anything. lol...oh, and also, I don't have any pain or anything)

Yeah, thanks so much guys...I am also 19 years old. It is actually something I have been contemplating for a few years. My mom and I even went to my doctor like 3 years ago and were put on a list...but I am not sure what happened to that. I find myself to be VERY self conscious but I am not sure if I still have to "grow into my body and become happy with who I am" or w/e. Reason tells me to wait and see if that is the case but then I don't want to wait until later in life and wish I had gotten it now. I actually live in Canada and am a candidate to have insurance pretty much cover it, but still, I am not rushing. I guess I wish someone could just tell me yes or no but that is not reasonable. But thank you very much, your answers were helpful

Well first off let me tell you that I'm 21 and had a breast reduction when I was 19. I was 5'2" and 135 pounds. I was a 40DD. I had just over a pound removed from each breast and it was the best thing that I ever did. I didn't do mine to wear the right clothes though...I needed the surgery because I was developing back problems and frequent headaches because of pressure on my back. My husband took care of me for 3 weeks, depending on your job that's about the length of time you can expect to be off of work. You will be in pain for about the first week. The scars are not pretty at first, they will make an anchor shape starting around your nipple and down the middle of your breast and then underneath your breast. I heal well and my scars are very faint.
That being said, I don't know that your considering the surgery for the right reasons. That's not really my place to say and I hope I don't offend you, but most insurance companies won't approve a reduction unless you have a minimum of I want to say 500 gms removed from each breast. Out of pocket I paid about 6-700 dollars and I had well above that removed. It's definitely not a surgery that you just "up and do" it really takes some consideration. I would recommend that you consider seeing at least 2 plastic surgeons for a consultation before you really consider your decision. If you do decide to do it, I think that you'll be happy with the results. It was the best thing that I ever did.
Hope that helps.

I think that if your having problems with your back or things like that, I would definatley look into having a reduction. your small so eventually this may be a problem for you from carrying the extra weight around. I was a F and had them reduced to a C 3 years ago, I cannot even see the scars at all, it is amazing and it was even better for the first time in my life to not have to buy mismatched clothing and actually go without a bra. I was very happy I did it..
If you want a source of woman who have done it try
Breasthealthonline.com, it is filled with great stuff
P.S. It didn't hurt that bad.. I actually was pretty surprised...

The decision is something that you are going to come to gradually on your own, but let me say this: you must do whatever makes you feel fulfilled, and it may take you a while to discover that.
However...if you start having chronic back pain or other health issues because of your breast size, that's an entirely different issue. I have an aunt who, while she doesn't really care about the aesthetic reasons, plans to get a reduction because her back simply cannot support her G -cup breasts anymore.
Also, you may want to consider a lift instead of a reduction, if it's the shape/sagginess of the breasts that bothers you the most. Whatever you do, make sure you weigh your options carefully and do not rush anything. Remember that this surgery is not only an emotional and medical commitment but a financial one as well!

whilst i became interior the army, one in each and every of my troops confirmed me a image of her taken some years in the past. She stood 5', and recognized like Dolly Parton. She had breast help surgical technique. She became having back pains, shoulder pains. She lifted her shirt and backside of her bra and you're able to desire to slightly see a delicate purple scar under her breast. (sure, we've been that close as acquaintances...long tale.) She is a perfect gal and since the surgical technique, she became a plenty happier one, too. confer with a wellness care provider some breast help. Like break of day, i think of you would be plenty happier. sometime we had a occasion on the homestead of one of my different troops, and that i observed break of day and a large breasted neighbor interior the corner speaking. That summer season, Tina (the neighbor) became over in her bathing healthful and a few thing merely did no longer seem suitable. She quickly stated, "I ought to take this subject off. My stitches are itching like loopy." Then it dawned on me (pardon the pun) that she, too, had breast help. those little domestic dogs have been status proud. good success!

Breast Reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
