Ok, if your torn of whether to spend the money on it at the theatres opposed to spending a small amount at home for when it comes out on DVD. The film is touching and inspirational. If you want to share the same feelings of everyone in an audience. Go see it at the theatre. If you want to have a buddy sit with you and watch it together when it comes out on DVD. That my dear is all up to you. I can't say this film was theatre worthy. I will say its a touching film. However, if you want the real theatrical, pick a more adventurous movie to go see at the theatres. :) If your a die hard Will Smith fan. Then spend the money cause you love him, regardless. The call really is up to you. If your a die hard Will Smith fan and don't want to miss a thing, I say you watch it at home so you can pause if you have to potty or get a snack. Noone can really answer this question to you because we don't know what your really asking? Bottom line, if you love Will go see it, if you don't want to spend the money at the theatres, wait for the DVD. Its not a big action film to be honest. Its a whole hearted film that you could catch the films point at home or at the theatre and still get choked up. The choice is yours.

I like Will Smith in general but I felt the movie was lacking a little and lagging a lot. I liked it in theory but for some reason, I walked out of the theatre feeling a little unfulfilled with the movie.

Will Smith did do a great job though and I think it's his best acting range.

Haven't seen it yet but really wanting to. Seen some previews and looks great, saw a scene where he is sleeping in a public restroom with his son when he is homeless, the tears were real convincing. Based on a true story which makes it even more interesting. And it is his real son is in the movie also.

Yes, he will probably get an Oscar nomination out of it. His son did very well also, it would be cool if his son was nominated for best supporting actor.
