If your husband can talk, he can give a sworn statement that will allow you to handle the affairs. An attorney for your state can help you with the proper wording.

I know a man who is paralyzed from the neck down and he can still sigh by placing the pen in his mouth and writing out his name... He still makes out his own checks and everything... and this man can not move at all.... So have your husband practice writing out his name with his mouth...

Go and talk to a attroney, they might want to come to the house and see your husband. But I think that they will do every thing in their power to help you. I am so sorry to hear about your husband.

I would think his mark done on front of a Notary Public and notarised would be sufficient but take no chances , see a good lawyer.

Since he is your husband and he can't sign you need to get a lawyer to help you. It shouldn't be to much trouble since you are married to him.
