there is something that is called precum. precum is a clear fluid that a man ejactulates before he actually comes (which can contain some, though not very much sperm). it is possible pre-*** can get a woman pregnant. A male can release pre-*** multiple times throughout a sexual/intimate encounter without knowing. If a condom is used it is highly recommended it is used from erection to ejaculation each and every time.
so my advice - use a condom. at least until you are sure the pill is working again.

I can't believe you are old enough to be married and don't know how this works!
Of course you can still get pregnant... just because he didn't fully ejaculate, doesn't mean that nothing came out!
However, it's kind of unlikely because 1 - you were on your period, which means that you aren't anywhere near ovulation and 2 - your pill still has some effectivness with the antibiotics.
Although, sperm can live for days, so you may still have sperm swimmin' around in there when you do ovulate next and with the diminished effectiveness of your birth control, you are more likely than normal...
Next time, save the headache and wear a rubber (yes, I know you are married... but it was just for one time.)

Yes. There is a very good chance you could get pregnant. A man has a fluid that is called precum that is released prior to ejaculation. This fluid is full of sperm. In fact, I've read that it contains more sperm than the fluid does when he actually ejaculates. When you are on the week of pills when you get your period, they are just sugar pills they contain no hormones. Your body is allowed to ovulate and have a period during this time. You have the highest chance of getting pregnant by having sex 12 hours before or 12 hours after ovulation. The chances are pretty high for 3 days before ovulation and 3 days after. Sperm can survive up to 5 days inside you.
If your period shows up, I'd still be fairly worried. It is very possible for a woman on the pill to get her periods while she is pregnant for the first 3 or 4 months. (That happened to me.)
What I would do is wait 2 weeks and go to the doctor and have them do a BLOOD TEST for pregnancy to be sure.
USE CONDOMS AND SPERMICIDE NEXT TIME.

If the birth control wasnt working because of your antibiotics, then the pull out method isnt exactly the best form of backup. The male can ejaculate before he actually ejaculates. It is called pre-ejaculation, and occurs during intercourse. It is possible for you to get pregnant, but each person is different, so if you were due for your period, there is a possibility your cycle is messed up because of the antibiotics then your period could be messed up too because of it.
Just take a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks to find out for sure, and see your doctor if you think you are pregnant.

I know everyone keeps talking about the precum, but odds are that you are NOT pregnant! Precum is there, but it's not a lot. Most antibiotics don't even effect your birth control pill, only some do. And even if they change the effectiveness of the pill for that week..You may still be okay because the pill is made to make your vagina walls a lot thicker and less suseptible to implatation of a sperm....Odds of you being pregnant are VERYYY slim. I'd have a glass of wine and relax! If you miss a period...then take a test, otherwise I highly doubt it. :)

No form of birth control is 100% effective. If no semen was emitted inside your vagina, you'd best make sure it didn't land nearby (on your belly or thighs), as sperm can seep and "travel" for 1-2 days past intercourse.
A friend of mine from college used to douche with warm Coca-Cola after sex, then take a long shower, as a precaution! Good luck with all that.

my husband and i have lived together for a year and half and been married for 5 months. for about 9 months we have used the pull out method (i wouldn't recommened it and i would say its kinda dumb for me to do this since i dont want a baby yet). but i still haven't gotten pregnant. if you were on the week that you were gonna get your period then im sure your fine. its not as easy to get pregnant as people think. there are only 3 days a month that you can and those days are 14 days after your period ends. use a condom for your own sanity so you dont stress out. good luck. i know im haven't gotten pregnant yet.

Yes, you could still get pregnant. Coitus Interruptus has never been reliable. All it takes is one escapee sperm and one determined egg. Even the lubrication a man produces before ejaculation can carry a few sperm. The antibiotics just increase the chances.
Good luck.

yes, when I was with my husband (we were just dating at the time) I got pregnant because of that method. The doc. told me that some *** can come out before he actually "blows his load".
i'm now on the depo shot.

yes, you can still get pregnant. There is pre-ejaculate which contains sperm (although much less than full ejactulation)... Still, the possibility exists that you could have gotten pregnant from this method.
