I'm a registered democrat. But I must say than in the 04 election I voted for Bush. I couldn't imagine John Kerry trying to defend this country against the jihadists who pulled off the 9-11 attacks. Look at him now, someone needs to tell him that he's NOT the president and that he is STILL just a senator. He's over in Iran negotiating with a madman who claims that the holocaust never occurred. Wants nuclear weapons to destroy Israel with and to use as leverage to rule the middle east and gain control of the world's oil supply. He's the same madman who is sending terrorists across the border into Iraq to kill US Soldiers. So what's John Kerry going over there to do ? Please Mr Ahmadinejad ! Please don't destroy Israel with nuclear weapons. Please stop supporting Hizbollah . Please stop sending insurgents into Iraq to kill American soldiers ! This is who the liberals would have elected president. John Kerry is over there shaking the hand of Ahmedinejad. Hands that bear the blood of US Soldiers in Iraq.

Classically in the average person here's lifetime Republicans represent the establishment. The man.. whatever.
Republicans are generally associated with conservatism and Democrats liberalism.. ( in reality those associations certainly cant be counted on )
So to the young, the disgruntled.. etc.. Republicans are big business.... the wealthy... the religious..
These are perceptions and becuase people dont like the way the world is and Republicans from what little they know, represent the establishment.. then it must be their fault.
... tangentially.... forget parties... look at your leaders individually.

Because Republicans are constantly attacked in the media. News reporters, who are mostly liberal, slant the stories to make Republicans look as bad as possible. If you don't believe me watch the Countdown show on MSNBC with Keith Oberman (sp?). He is constantly bashing Republicans. People hear half of the story then repeat it and then they repeat it, instead of researching the real story and finding out the real facts on their own. People should be civilized and accept that we all have different views on policies without resorting to name calling.

It's not completely 1 sided. I see more trash from the left, but I'm sure reasonable liberals see more from the right. My guess is that a lot of the problem is from a few jerks with multiple identities. I think that bashing & reporting gives them a feeling of power. Pathetic, isn't it?

Why don't the Republicans like people? I all I ever hear is slander from the republicans.
Okay, so the slander comes from all sides. Don't take criticism of the ruling party personally, it's just freedom in action.

Troubled Teen...Politics is not for the fair minded or the thin skinned. If you want the truth...you have to look elsewhere, because lies and politics go together like peas and carrots. Both sides do it...maybe the young people can fix it in the future.

Because they call themselves conservatives but spend tons of cash and get us in wars that go to nowhere. If you read the Republican philosophy, it sounds nice but they dont follow it. Ask yourself this, is government smaller? Does it cause less interference in your life then when the Democrats where in office? The answer is no. Hell, the Republicans dont even know what the Geneva Conventions are and they certainly dont respect freedom or civil rights.. They let the greedy business tycoons and prostitute loving evangalists call the shots while ignoring everyone else. I used to even vote for Republicans until this current administration showed me what idiots they are. I do think Arnie is cool though and he seems very moderate and realistic to me.
