Because most of those claiming to be psychic are frauds and can't see the past or the future. Any true psychic wouldn't use their gift for personal gain and the frauds can't as they have no real gift.

Because psychics are also bound by the all surrounding laws just like we all are and part of those laws state that we can never use our powers or spells for evil or for our own special benefit.

well im gonna guess phychic's do not play the lotto because they also see their demise at the same time. you know, for every action there is an opposite action crap
