I've read many previews of the film, some extremely good, some very bad. I got the book for christmas and am just about to start reading it and just wondered what anyone else thought of it.

I read the book but haven't seen the movie yet. I feel that the movie is probably better than the book...the book became tiresome and very predictable and I could see why it would make a cute 90 or so minute movie. I loaned the book to a couple of friends and we all felt the same. I hope you enjoy it...on a scale of 1 to 5 we gave it a 3.

I just finished the book and now have no desire to see the movie. The book was entertaining. It reminded me of Citizen Girl by the authors who wrote the Nanny Diaries. It will keep you reading from beginning to end but by the end you start to think of other ways it should have ended. I would have to agree with the person who gave it a 3.

I enjoyed the book. I didn't see the movie, but I know the book had a definite edge to it that the movie didn't.

Can't you read a book for yourself without touting for other people's judgements first?
