Several questions on your penny. Is there a mint mark? What type of condition is the penny in? Give a honest est. on grade or condition. If you are not familiar with grading then I would suggest purchasing a copy of 'Red Book, A Guide to US Coins, 2008 or 2009 version'. My book shows 42 (blank or P) and (D) at $0.15 with a (S) at $0.20 on low end of grade or G-4 (Good). Hope this helps Jim

To start off, the US never produce pennies, only cents. ANd it's not fully copper, but bronze alloy.

The market value of your cent very much depends on the condition. From $0.01 to $....(I dunno, any amount seems possible once it's inside a slab)

Since they minted 657,828,600 of them, not much. Dealers sell them for 2 to 5 cents each in circulated grades.
