I love singapore simply because it is a food paradise. The variety of foods available in Singapore is simply astounding and staggering! Within a few hundred metres, there might be a Hawker Stall selling S$4 Indian Cuisine, Peranakan Cuisine, Chinese Cuisine and Malay Cuisine specialities, a Food Court with Japanese Cuisine, Korean Cuisine and Thai Cuisine stalls, a coffee shop serving up barbecued Seafood and Laksa, an Indian shophouse making wafer thin Roti Prata and Chicken Curry, and an air-conditioned French Restaurant where a bottle of Wine costs more than a maid's monthly wage. And that's not counting the endless titbits and snacks. No wonder that Singapore is often touted as "The Food Paradise"!
You find a more comprehensive writeup in http://lifestylewiki.com/Food#Singapore_Cuisines. Singapore is definitely a good place to live in.

Singapore, to me personally, is a Great country consisting of a little warm community with nice people living together! I totally can't think of any other countries which can be better than my own homeland. Singapore is also well-known for its clean & green moto!
We've so many varieties of international cuisines which contributes to being a multi-national gourmet heaven. I bet you can't try so many different dishes in other countries at a go. But we can and I'm happy to be living here.
Apart from that, we've many different living cultures, cultivating Singaporeans in a multi-languages society. It is really terrific because we get to learn and speak in so many languages!
Well I just don't understand why there are so many people who still blame our government for imposing so many strict rules and fines on us. Come to think of it, it is to help Singaporeans to abide rules, so we'll not break the rules & commit crimes so easily.
Lastly, a toast to Singapore for being a 1st class country of its own! I really don't consider Singapore as a bad country, I also don't see any bad rulers in our country. By the way, pls understand something guys, every country will sure have got its strengths and weaknesses, so don't think Singapore is bad. Well, Singapore comes in Peace & Harmony!

Singapore is one of the cleanest, least corrupt countries in the world with state of the art facilities and great malls all over.
WHY would it be a bad country?
Anyway, what's your definition of 'bad'?

Well, it all depends. Singapore is a communist country in the guise of a democratic country.
If you want to practice all your birth rights and inherent rights, Singapore is not a place to be.

That really depends on HOW you define "bad" (as someone mentioned earlier), and WHY you had to ask such a question.
