It shouldn't cause any problems at all if you pull the foreskin back (retract the skin to expose the head), unless you suffer from a condition called Phimosis. Phimosis is a condition in which your foreskin is tight around the glans (head), and makes it difficult to retract the skin to expose the head. If this is your situation, you shouldn't be alarmed, it seems to be something a bit more common than most people think. It is important for you to retract the foreskin in order to properly wash your penis, and prevent infections such as Paraphimosis, which is an inflamation caused by poor hygiene. You can try to practice pulling the skin back behind the crown of the glans particularly when you are flaccid, to begin to get the foreskin stretched and flexible enough for normal movement. If you feel it getting too tight and even a bit painful, then I suggest you make an appointment to see your doctor. He can provide one of three remedies......see Link below. I hope one of these works for you.
Best of Luck!

Don't worry, I am uncircumcised too and pulling the fore skin back causes NO problem. In fact, it causes problems not to. By not pulling it back you can not clean properly and you can get infections. Its healthy to pull it back, it may seem a little tough the first time or tight, or your head may seem a little dry because nothing has touched it yet if you have never pulled it back before. Do it in the shower where there is water. Keep it pulled back and let room temperature water fall on it and clean it out a little and do it everyday so you can get used to your head being exposed. You NEED to pull back your foreskin, its unhealthy not to.

although foreskin is designed to cover and protect the glans/head of the penis it is also supposed to retract fairly easily for both cleaning and sex. Even when masturbating, it should glide up and down the penis as you stroke.
so, if yours doesn't retract easily check it out to see if your foreskin is still adhered (sort of like glued) to the head or is it just that the foreskin is too tight to retract easily. In either case you need to start working it back slowly. best bet is to get in a tub of warm water or a nice hot shower and gently retract as far as you can go easily. Then pull it just a wee bit further and hold it for a few minutes. Repeat as many times as you can each times. While this can be done while flaccid/limp or erect, the ultimate goal is to be able to retract fully while erect. Note though that this takes time to achieve and should not be hastened.
Once the skin is loose enough to get two fingers under the end of it, try stretching by inserting the fingers and gently pulling outward just to the point where it starts to hurt a bit. Hold a few minutes and release. Repeat several times. Thsi will be a bit faster in loosening up a tight foreskin than the retract and hold one.

At 17 you should be able to pull your foreskin back with no problem. If you cannot, then you should see a doctor. You can wind up with health issues (infections, etc) as bacteria becomes trapped underneath the foreskin.
If you are able to pull the skin back easily, then do so. You need to be keeping that area clean.
Good luck!

You must pull your foreskin all the way back to expose the groove under the head. This is essential for hygiene and for satisfactory sexual activity. However, it is much better to be circumcised. Circumcised men enjoy better hyhiene, comfort appearance to women, self-esttem and FAR better ses for both themselves and their female partners. All men should be circumcised!

Sounds like you are not circumcised. I believe you are experiencing adhesion of the skin. My son had the same thing. The doctors told us that cancer is a concern for males w/o circumcision. So we had it done, while he was having another problem down under, corrected!

It won't cause a problem...it's natural it's supposed to be there. Most people get theirs cut off when they're babies, just born. There will be no problems...trust me. Just try it, it won't hurt or anything.

See a doctor.
"Phimosis" or tight foreskin may cause health problems sooner or later.
You should be able to retract for urination and for intercourse.
