Yes. You can bet that MLB will be doing all it can to prevent the greatest record in sports to be broken by this cheater. It was just announced that the government can use the names of 100 players as evidence against Bonds and others who have used steroids and human growth hormone. Baseball cannot allow the career home run record to be broken by Bonds, and they are working with the government to really step up their case now. So far, Jason Giambi is taking all the heat for using steroids, while other abusers like BONDS have gotten away with it so far. Eventually, BALCO Barry is going to have to face the music. To all of you who think I am a hater, why does Balco Boy's trainer, Greg Anderson keep refusing to talk? If Balco Barry has done nothing wrong, don't you think Anderson would tell everything? Bonds is a cheat, deal with it.

I hope that he is charged with perjury charges and will be thrown out of the record books and will be forced to retire from baseball. Barry cheated his way into defeating Babe Ruth's 714 HR's. He cheated his way into how having 734 HR's and on counting. If he beats Hank Aaron's record, I hope that they atleast put a HUGE asterisk *** next to his name in the record books. Barry Bonds is a cheater, a fraud, and a cheater. Lastly, he is a fraud.

How do you figure Bonds has "gotten away with it"??? He has been hounded and dogged the most. What is funny is that in limited playing time the past two years, he is still jacking the ball out of the park, and you cannot tell me he has been taking steroids these days. Barry Bonds was the most gifted baseball player and was truly a five-tool player.

Yes.

I lke the way you put that, about Bonds the HR record.

Frankly, I was surprised that the Giants resigned him, and not the least be surprised that they were the only takers. They waited so long it was almost as though someone (his agent, perhaps) had to beg them to do it.

I suspect, though, that he'll walk 4 or 5 times a game. Certainly, if it were up to me, none of my pitchers would ever be allowed to give him anything to hit.

He's a cheater, plain and simple. Outside the lines, he's also in deep, deep doo-doo with the feds, and they don't like to keep playing those kinds of games.

No, and even if he blatantly says, I used steroids. MLB can due nothing, because they werent on the banned substance list. Also, he has never failed a drug test. He will break the HR record and all the people who have hated him his entire career because he wasn't the kind of person who deserved to hold the title "greatest player ever" will have to watch in agony as he breaks baseballs more sacred record.

I hope so, but I doubt it. There is too much money involved in the industry of baseball, that is why it has gone this far.

Yes. And if you believe otherwise your fooling yourself. He's bad for the game and never played it for the fans.
