Iraq is not in our national interest. That has become the popular excuse for a war that started under false pretenses. Since our leader in thief made Iraq a priority we have to finish what we started. However, our nations security is still at the utmost importance so hopefully we can concentrate on our borders soon and stop all the mal-performances there. Or we can hope

There's more to it than just 'fighting terror'. If you turn on the news or read the news paper, you'll hear the statistics and opinions on how this war is bad for us as a nation. We went in looking for weapons of mass destruction, haven't found any. That doesn't mean they weren't there. They were moved, obviously. If they weren't then the whole world would see America was right for going in and then more nations would offer support on the fight on terror.
We have freedom enough to go and do what we want when we want, many Iraqi's don't have that option. This was isn't the best of America's decisions, in many ways it is only hurting us. But the war is not as simple as Bush deciding we're going to go in and invade. It's an effort to help a nation that has seen suppression sense before the Mayflower reached America.
If the troops are pulled out now, we are only showing everyone that terrorism can go on without accountability. We're in this mess, but we can't simply run away from it. It's terrible that so many soldiers are dying, but a lot more are dying on the other side. The only difference is that America gives a damn that their soldiers are dying. The insurgents could careless.

The Iraq war was about controlling Iraq's oil fields.
In 2003, the Iraq Petroleum Corporation (the Iraqi government owned firm that has run Iraq's oil fields since their 1973 nationalization) signed a deal to sell their oil to a consortium of Russian, Chinese, Indian and French oil companies, and for the oil to be sold in Euros, rather than in Dollars.
Since 10% of all the oil in the world is under the sands of Iraq, this deal deeply threatened the monopoly that ExxonMobil, Chevron Texaco, BP Amoco, Royal Dutch Shell and the commodity traders in the New York Commodity Exchange and the Rotterdam Spot Market have in the international oil trade.
That's why America invaded Iraq - to take their oil off the market, preserve the Anglo-Dutch-American international oil trade monopoly, drive up the price of oil and make sure that Iraq's oil would be kept out of the world market until it was safely under the control of the global oil trade interests.
This war has NOTHING to do with al-Qaeda - they didn't even operate in Iraq until after the invasion.
If you'll remember, the invasion of Afghanistan was about al-Qaeda, since they are headqurtered in that country and planned the 9/11 attacks from their bases there.
Nope, the Iraq war was and is an oil war.
Unfortunately, invading Iraq made al-Qaeda stronger - with the collapse of Saddam Hussein's fierce and brutally efficient Mukhabarat secret police, al-Qaeda could finally get a foothold in Iraq, and they are now a major political force in a country where they didn't even exist 3 years ago.
But, the Iraq invasion did help the oil companies by driving up the price of oil
That's why you pay $ 3 a gallon at the gas pump - because, with Iraq under Anglo American military occupation, ExxonMobil, Chevron Texaco, BP Amoco, Royal Dutch Shell and the New York and Rotterdam oil traders have a much tighter grip on the global oil supply.
Was it worth the cost of 3,000 American and 200,000 Iraqi lives?
To the oil companies and their shareholders, YES, it most certainly was!

The world is a much smaller place today. With the influence of modern communication, information, and transport technology, the civilizations of Earth are becoming close neighbors. They are no longer called distant lands at the "tip of the Earth". Therefore, foreign interests are also national interests.
Outside of the US you can find many, many murderous and jealous warlords and their followers. This is not a myth produced by the media, they are REAL and you can find them if you travel enough to the dark places of the world. They want to spill the blood of free citizens and they are dwelling nearby. This is why you and your people must stop them. There is no time to waste. They are already here!

How much more freedom do you want,Dweeb?
You want more freedom to shoot up the neighborhood or steal more money or rape more citizens or molest more kids?
Freedom is about doing the right things & feeling good about yourself, not controling or terrorizing everyone else like SOME country's lea....er....DICTATORS .
Now,you look at our streets in the 40's & 50's & then take a look now.
Is your neighbor gonna cut your throat or can you leave your door unlocked at night?

The invasion of Iraq is not in their best interest. It is in the President's best interest. He had to save face for this father, Bush Sr. for not finishing the job he started when he was President. 911 isn't about Iraq, 911 is about Bin Laden yet the efforts were focused on Iraq.

Keep in mind that we are not at war with Iraq or the Iraqi people. We are at war with Fanatic Muslims, who are dead set on killing you, your family and all Americans. Better the war is fought somewhere else and not over here. As they infiltrate our borders, the possibility of war from within gets greater.

The conflict isn't weakening u.s.. Hate is. Publically criticizing our president is. Dividing and protesting and not giving a rattling what the worldwide, fantastically our enemies, think of persons. How is it which you think of you or me or the different inner maximum citizen is conscious of the quantity of what you declare on your fact? How do you be attentive to what Osama Bin encumbered is doing? in addition to, he replaced into doing in simple terms what you defined as much as 9/11 and have been weren't at conflict with Iraq. How do you be attentive to that the Iraqis do no longer choose for us over there? And no, the Iraqi human beings did no longer attack us. we are no longer struggling with Iraqis. we are conserving and attempting help the Iraqi human beings. we are struggling with Insurgents that are especially terrorist from Syria and Iran. Terrorist who have been being funded by employing Sadaam are no longer any further. greater electorate have the elementary utilities now than they did before the conflict. toddlers are in school and not in prisons or preparation for Sadaam. The Kurdish human beings have long previous from exile of their own usa, killed and mutilated by employing the hundreds, to unquestionably having an element in the protection rigidity. those are people who before the conflict weren't allowed to hold a job, who had to rely in basic terms on the nutrition and products they could grant for themselves with the aid of unfairness against them. instead of Iraqi oil money getting used to fund American deaths or good gold bathtubs and different extravagance for the Husseins and Sadaam's cohorts, it incredibly is feeding the electorate and recuperating the rustic's infrastructure. And did you be attentive to that a number of our protection rigidity docs take care of undesirable Iraqis who've in no way had any style of scientific interest? in line with possibility instead of Democrats wishing for the worst and taking large exhilaration in shouting loss of life numbers, propaganda to place worry and unease in the rustic, and if the two factors give up attempting to browbeat one yet another to submission, we ought to consistently communicate getting the job finished and getting domicile. The longer Congress vs. the Bush administration is going on, the longer we are going to be in Iraq. it's time to set aside delight, transformations, and political events and end the job all of us started and then we are able to concentration on different issues.

Like many Americans, you're either clueless or more worried about what the newest video game is than you are about your own safety!
Let me make this simple......There are Muslim fanatics who want to kill all westerners and Jews!! They hate us and our way of life. If we pulled out of Iraq and Afghanistan today......they win a moral victory and they will STILL want us dead! Better to have our soldiers fighting them over there than you and I trying to fight them over here. Got it!!!!!!
