Rush? The Canadian trio from the 70s? How they dizz "gangsters"??? This I gotta hear!!!
Rush rocks!! To this day, there isn't a drummer who can best Neil Peart. For one to, they'd have to be in a band that carries talent, something sadly rare today in all music genres.
Rush prided their music on it's tight clarity and unique sound. They also had equally skilled studio techs mastering and mixing their music tracks for albums. Try finding a band, any band today that doesn't sound like a bunch of drunk monkeys got together and clashed.....slap it all together a week later and call it a "alternative rock" album.
If Rush speaks out against rap and all the other music garbage we have to put up with, then I say they well earned that right--given their talent. If they aren't in the Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame yet, they will soon enough.
Don't hold your breath for 50 cent to make the Rock Hall Of Fame.
