Yes just get an external It will hook up with a usb cord. You'll need extra memory if you are running only 128mb's of ram. DVD's eat up resources. If your p.c is newer and has at least 256, 512 would be much better, then you shouldn't have a problem.

If your computer has at least 256Mb ram and a 20gb hard drive you should be able to install a DVD byrner. Internal burners are better than external because they are faster and you can not drop or damage them as easily. If you can't install it yourself and can't afford to get an internal one installed, or you have a laptop an external drive is ok

Yes. Your best bet would be to get a USB DVD drive for around $30 because the file transfer is fast. Make sure that you have USB 2.0, if not, get a USB 2.0 PCI add-on card.

You can do that with the risk of breaking it or dropping it you should get an internal one they are more stable and less likly to get dropped also they are a lot easier to hook up then most ppl think. Just unplug the 3 plugs in the old one take out the screws from the old one plug the new one in with the 3 plugs you took out and then screw it back in its that easy.

If you have a slot for it you could get an eternal one. I'm sure you can add an external one, but yeah, you should have no problem.
