I am a republican and will admit he has not done this country well. He has in my opinion assured the Democrats they will put the next President in office. I am not going to say I think he was the worst. I want your opinion. I personally think the people around him made bad choices that made him look bad. He chose poor advisors.

A lot of Democrats and journalists did not like Reagan ad his tough stance on Communist aggression. Yet, today, he is remembered as a TRUE AMERICAN HERO. Perhaps, George W. will be given that honor when we see the reasons why he decided to go to war in Iraq.

Hardly the worst President by a long shot. Even though some things did not go well for him and I do not agree with some of his priorities (He allowed to much entitlement spending).

But he has shown great integrity in following through with what he believed to be right for the country even when it was not to his political benefit. Don't count on that from any Clinton presidency. Of course the people who hate that part of GWB the most are thous who want thought he was a dunce lame duck president who could be easily manipulated. Those people have been greatly disappointed.

I do not agree that the Democrats are a shoo-in for 2008 because, unfortunately for them, Nether George W. Bush or his vice president Dick Dick Cheney will be running. So they will not be able to run against an unpopular incumbent administration.

Surely, one of the impeached Presidents- Nixon or Clinton- would be the worst.

Bush seems to be a personally honorable man. I think an honest evaluation of the Bush (43) Presidency will not be made until a decade after it is complete. For example, if Osama bin Laden were captured tomorrow and had documents showing plans to ship a dirty bomb to all of the ports in Western countries on the same day Bush would seem to have had a much more successful term.

The question is so easy to answer with facts. Just look at what was promised and told. That either became untrue or just a flat out lie. Or never was done or finished. I think most of the citizens of our great nation are intelligent. They don't support him. Look at his approval rating. And he was selected by the Supreme Court his first term and on his second he stole Ohio. Bottom line History will bring out all the true facts some day. He is the worst ever. And what is even sadder we have a VP who doesn't want to be president. If something happens to the President then we have a man leading us who has said he does not want the position. You tell me, Would you trust Dick as President?
And I am a Democrat and question my party all of the time. Simply because I am an American far most and first. I think for myself. I don't let a political party do it.

How do you call yourself a Republican? Looking at all your past answers you put them down every chance you get!! Come on, if you are so against the party why be one? I mean it's a free society, if you prefer to be a Democrat they don't arrest you up for it. But it is wrong to come on here saying you are when you really aren't.

He chose poor advisors, but he IS responsible for those choices. And he selected for ideology over competence, and over contact with reality. Bush is clearly the worst President ever. He is more corrupt than Nixon, and more stupid than Reagan (who at least had a half excuse in that he was already going senile).

Of course not. He's done some good things and some bad things, but if anyone says he's the worst president is either lying or ignorant. My ace in the hole retort is always Jimmy Carter...but you can always look at Herbert Hoover if you want to look earlier.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, mine is this I do not feel that Bush has made a lot of good choices for this country and my respect for him gets less and less the longer our troops are on foreign soil. He needs to quit worrying about a winner for this horrible war and whose gonna be the Victorious One and concentrate more what the real victory is for the American people and that is Bring our troops home NOW!!!

I don't know, I think Warren Harding was pretty bad. He appointed the wrong people to help him run the government. They ended up using their power for their own financial gain. He was also a member of the KKK.

Yes, he did choose poor advisors, but he must take the majority of the blame because that responsibility comes with the office. Only history will show how bad he truly was. I suspect that in 20 or 30 years when children are learning about him in school, everything printed about Bush in textbooks will be negative.

no, I believe the worst President we ever had was Harding due to scandals that were endless and his lack of leadership Grant was a close second but he is saved by his great Secy of State Hamilton Fish.
