Is Gil Grissom (William Peterson) leaving CSI? I saw an episode preview were he says goodbye to everyone and I guess he leaves?
Could it be so?

No, he's going on hiatus for about a month. He's going to do a play.

On the next episode to be aired on Thursday January 4, 2007. Called "Leaving Las Vegas" (now that's original) Gil Grissom prepares to leave on a four-week sabbatical.

He is leaving, but he'll be back. I think he's leaving to teach a seminar somewhere. I don't know how long he's gonna be gone, though. It's sad, but everybody needs a break, even Gil.

The show wouldn't be the same if he left and I know the ratings would plummet! If he were leaving, I think it would've been all over the tabloids by now.

Yes , he's leaving , let Warrick in his place , say goodbye to Sara , said he will be back , but I don't think he will be , and even if hw will be back , he will be changed , you'll see !
