Go to the Control Panel... Add or Remove Programs... You can remove the Internet Explorer 7 installation (be sure Show Updates is selected if you don't see IE 7 in the list).

I had the issue after installling Internet Explorer 7.0, I didn't like it and found that the older version 6.0 worked better on several websites. To go back to Internet Explorer version 6.0, you need to uninstall version internet explorer 7.0
To do this click, start, then click on control panel. Double click on Add/Remove Programs. Then click on Internet Explorer 7.0. Then click on Change/Remove. This will uninstall all of internet explorer 7.0. Restart your computer and Internet Explorer 6.0 will now be on your computer.
