No WMDs, no concrete ties to Al-Qaeda or 9-11....but arguably also a brutal dictator who invaded Kuwait and waged war against Kurdish Iraqis. There will also likely continue to be soldier deaths well after Saddam is executed.......

Love how the "bobster" has immediately labeled you, insulted you and dismissed you simply because you point out the facts. Bush supporters can't seem to handle the truth. In answer to your question, no. Nor was it worth the billions it's costing the American taxpayers. That doesn't bother Bush supporters though because as long as they can bankrupt the economy by war-mongering there will be no money for social service programs, the environment, or any other "liberal" programs. But golly geez, I would love to see some concern from average Americans for the 100,000+ Iraqis who have died because the most powerful nation on earth invaded their country, destroyed it and will soon abandon it to fend for itself. Does anybody on Yahoo Answers have a heart anymore? Or are your hearts just too full of all of that godforsaken patriotism?

Only arguably a brutal dictator? Something you didn't figure into this equation is how many human deaths (mostly Muslim) were caused by Saddam for the past twenty years, and the probability that the deaths would continue at X number per month throughout his life, and that of his sons.

You have a legitimate side to this issue; but to be fair one should look at all sides, so I'm playing the Devil's Advocate.

He replaced into appropriate in 1994. Iraq replaced into greater good while Saddam replaced into in capability. Saddam additionally stored Iran in stability, as quickly as Saddam replaced into captured, Iran accumulated up some cojones and now they're a pest to the U. S. and it somewhat is allies.

It will be hard to say yes when it would take over several decades or more for Iraq to stabilize some what. After that many years people might ask if they could have transformed that country withtout major US military action if given that much time. Lot of people will say yes, but that number is bound to shrink for each day Iraq stays a country in chaos.

No, I think G. Bush was stupid to attack Saddam Hussein. I mean, even though the U.S wants to stop evil dictatorship, it's not worth 3000 U.S lives, considering we are losing more people every day now. George Bush told americans that Saddam Hussein was the cause of 9/11, and people belived in it.

It's sad that our political goverment is corrupted

Every month about 60 for 100,000 U.S. soldiers are killed in Iraq, which is less than the casualty-by-firearm rate in the state of Washington (about 80: 100,000) "3000 soldiers lives" doesn't make for a very strong argument as the price for Saddam, although no one deserves to die, and I sympathize for the fallen soldiers and their families, you're more likely to die living in our nation's capitol than being stationed in Iraq.

You only see the negatives in this matter. Could it be because you are a Bush-hating liberal Democrat? In wars, someone has to die. We have done pretty well, considering the number of fatalities compared to previous armed conflicts we have been involved in.

I wonder how you would feel if some Bass Turd decided to take your little brother out & shoot him in the head, because your Aunt Matilda won't sleep with him!
This kind of BUTT WIPE was in control of a whole country & treated people as he liked every day & none of it was good!
When will you spineless little creeps quit throwing blame around & start supporting your country?
You like your ELECTRICITY & your GAS for your HOME & CAR,don't you?
The war is about defending the honor of our people who were killed in their own country in their own work place, minding their on lives.
Do you think if we sit back & rub our wounds & complain, that it will stop them from attacking us?
By ,Moses! If it were up to me,I would blow all the warped masses to smithereens, then we would only have to worry about the warped individuals in our country who spit on decency & act like they own the world!
