You could buy Virtual PC and a copy of windows to run it. That doesn't seem like a good solution to me though. I would try to return the webcam and get one that will work on OS X

Hello xheartxchanel,

You wouldn't buy something that works with WindowsNT and hope that it works for a Linux computer. In fact, you wouldn't have plug-n-pray with different versions of Windows. So, it's better if you look on the box for Mac compatibility before you buy.

Normally, you would need something faster like an iSight camera, which uses a firewire connection rather than a slower USB web cam with an iBook. I'm not sure where you would get this kind of information. Maybe you should try to find a local Macintosh users group in your area. They would be a big help to you in whatever you may need. Maybe you could also go to where you bought your Macintosh from and ask them what sort of hardware that they recommend.

I hope that this helps. Best of luck to you.
