My 11 year old daughter is standing here talking to me, and had the perfect answer to your question. "The kids at school would make fun of them". Think about a name your "child" can live with comfortably. There's nothing wrong with those names, but they are not very socially acceptable even among kids. Kids deal with enough from their friends. Don't give them a complex from the beginning. Anyway, what kind of middle name would go with this?

why don`t you have some kids named them grass and leaves and find out for your self what will happen!

Are you serious? What if you were named grass and one of your siblings would be leaves. Would you like that? Many people wouldn't....

Two things to think about: How would YOU like it if that was YOUR name. Second, how would've you reacted when you were a kid if you encountered someone with one of those names. I guess this would be a third thing to think about: Why would you want to do that to your child?

I named my daughter Skylar...and we call her Sky.

Why not just GRASS and WEED, stick with a theme you know. And that way they would know exactly what you were doing when you came up with thier names.
But no joke I do know twins Lightning and Thunder!
