1)Make sure you have a good connection. Usually, anything under three bars wont come up. If its over 3, and it still doesnt work, you need to get a diffrent limewire, or new version.

2)Make sure the search uses small words, like for a specific song, type in the singer, then just go from there.

If neither of these help anything, you seriously need a better limewire.

either that song is not available..as in nobody is sharing it or either you type your search too fast even before limewire can be fully connected

you can always check limewire's connection by hovering down to the bars at the bottom-left of limewire =)

Limewire is bad for your computer. There are a lot of viruses attached to that. Limewire is the worst for messing up your computer and its difficult to get rid of the viruses once it starts because so many cookies are attached. Big mess so be careful.

Are you using Limewire Pro? Make sure that limewire isn't being blocked by your firewall...good luck, sweetie!

limewire sucks. it's too slow, takes up too much space, and is full of bugs. get ares. it is incredibly much better.

it took me a long time to get rid of limewire because i was such a fan of it, but ever since then i have been using ares exclusively and i haven't missed limewire since.

when using limewire make sure you are connected to the network. on the tabs on top it will say connect/disconected make sure you click on the connect option, and wait.. on the botton left hand conner you will see the status in red. when it say's starting connection wait untill it say's excellent connection then and only then start your search.

Make sure you're connected to the internet. There should be 4 green (or blue) bars on the bottem left corner. They're a symbol for your internet strength. Its like your cell phone signal bars.
