Dont believe all that propaganda stuff.. I lost a family member during 9/11, and at first with all the conspiracies theories, I was confused too. Then I realized that it was all just propaganda, from people who were trying to make our President/Gov't look bad! When in all honesty, what it really was, was a terrorist attack out of pure hatred for the US.

When numerous different stories are put out describing the same event with totally different conclusions - it is natural to become confused.
The key is to separate the lies, rhetoric and nonsense from the valid and verifiable facts.
None of the so called contradictory "facts" on the op-blogs, conspiracy web sites and YouTube videos have appeared in any scientific venue - or any credible venue at all, for that matter.
The real facts can be found in the bipartisan report on the events leading up to and including 9/11 - these facts were substantiated by a very thorough article in Popular Mechanics as well as Time and Newsweek magazines.

They are conpsiracy theorists ; the same vein ilk of people who dont believe we walked on the moon, that the holocaust never happened, that jfk was assassinated by the CIA, that elvis is still alive, so on and so forth.
They are of the mindset that "government" is bad, and that we are all being brain washed to believe everything in the media, that hte JEWS own everything and preparing the word for a New World Order...
The Youtube videos are nothing more than propaganda being shoved down the throats of people who are on "the fence" . They are all bluster, but filled with no facts. Subject their "claims" to scientific scrutiny and they fall apart. NOT ONE scientific fact, evidence or claim supports anything these idiots spout, in their videos or on their conspiracy websites.
All you have to do is read the reports done by the groups and scientists that have published about 911 and you will come away , knowing these theories that these conspirators claim are nothing more than fanciful fiction.

Yes, it can be confusing and it does not help that much of the evidence has been kept from the public and in some cases destroyed. We have then been fed, through the national media, a story that is not supported by the facts.
Most all the evidence that is available to us, show that the WTC buildings were rigged with explosives. Our own government had motive as was well as an opportunity to do this crime. Here is the evidence, presented for your scrutiny.
FAKE CONFESSION
The official government story is that the 9/11 attack was orchestrated by Al Qaeda, which is lead by Osama bin Laden. The proof our government provided was a video with Osama confessing to the crime. The problem with the video is that the person in the video does not look like Osama bin Laden: See picture.

EVIDENCE
There are many other factors that do not fit the official story. They include, secondary explosions that were seen, heard, reported, and recorded by firefighters, in and around the WTC buildings.

Here is a video clip showing a trail of explosions just before the destruction wave.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_DkzhonpGY&mode=related&search=
Molten, beyond red hot, "steel" was video recorded coming out of the South Tower just before it collapsed. Jet fuel does not burn hot enough to turn steel to liquid. Melted red hot steel was also found in "ground zero" of all three WTC buildings, including WTC7; the one no jet ever hit.

FORENSICS
A chemical analysis of the solidified molten iron, conducted by independent firms, yielded an explosive, called Thermite. Also found was a WTC core beam; most probably cut using the demolition cutting charge (Thermate). No core beams were left standing beyond a few feet high, for it to have been cut by an Iron Workers torch. Click on pic. to enlarge.

CONFESSION
We also have a video recording, where owner Larry Silverstein, admits to demolishing WTC7.

TESTIMONY
There is also a problem with the Pentagon attack. Listen to this retired general, He says, "The Plane does not fit the hole; so what did hit the Pentagon..."

A video, obtained by a public interest group, show the top rear fin of an air craft hiding behind a call box: Whatever is hiding back there, is under 85 ft. long, too small to be a Boeing 757, which is over 155 ft. long. See more complete analysis at:

MOTIVE
The New Conservatives (Neo-Cons), with the help of their friends, started planning the invasion of Iraq, shortly after Pres. Bush took office. Apparently, the plan would include the attack of the WTC buildings. It did this to get the support of congress and the nation, to attack Iraq. Read it from their own PENAC document. Pay special attention to the section entitled "Creating Tomorrow's Dominant Force" page 50 and the top of page 51, where it states we need a new Pearl Harbor attack to get the ball rolling.
http://www.newamericancentury.org/RebuildingAmericasDefenses.pdf
OPPORTUNITY
Witnesses saw a work crew going into the WTC buildings with rolls of wire, supposedly for internet upgrades. Tenants were moved around while crews "upgraded" the cable systems. The Port Authority cut power to the building for a whole weekend, just prior to the attack; shutting down the entire security systems. Witnesses also heard crews operating heavy hammering equipment that left a gray cement like dust, in the building. This activity took place just weeks before the 911 attack: The Port Authority had released control of the buildings to Larry Silverstein, six weeks prior to the attack: He made upwards of $5 billion off of the attack.

I've heard several of the theories and most of them amount to "we can't explain coincidence X, Y or Z" or "the results, debris, etc. don't look like we imagine they would," and therefore there must be a conspiracy. (And of course there are those that approach it like a detective considering any crime, by asking "who benefits?" and the actions of the Bush administration in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 to expand their powers, dissuade criticism and pass previously unpopular legislation, make them, to many, a prime circumstantial suspect.)
In spite of my feelings about the Bush administration (and perhaps in part because of them) I find the theories impossible to believe. Some, such as those that suggest the towers must have been brought down by explosives because they couldn't /wouldn't have collapsed due to the aircraft impacts, I (and my 15 years of engineering experience) dismiss out of hand, i.e. of course the towers could have collapsed due solely to the aircraft strikes. Others, like the footage of the aftermath of the strike on the Pentagon are more difficult to explain. But to me "difficult to explain" does not equate to a conspiracy. As a working engineer I see unexpected test results every day (if they were always expected we wouldn't need to test) and compared to the wreckage of the Pentagon strike, these tests are very simple events in very controlled environments with almost perfect knowledge of conditions prior to and after the events and still there are many that we cannot explain without repeating the event dozens of times.
Perhaps the biggest reason for my skepticism however (to conspiracy theories in general, including the Kennedy assassination, Pearl Harbor, etc.) is that it is impossible to believe that a secret of this magnitude involving the number of people that would need to be involved could be maintained by something as fallible as our current government (or any government for that matter...I mean we had a president that couldn't even manage to keep a particularly sleazy affair that involved perhaps a dozen people secret...the incompetence of this government just makes it all the more unlikely.) If Abu Graib couldn't be covered up and evidence of weapons of mass destruction planted in Iraq (I'm not implying that the Bush administration tried, just that if one assumes they were capable of 9/11 then this would be an obvious follow up) then they certainly wouldn't be capable of planning, executing or covering up the events of 9/11.
If we were able to dig deep enough we probably would find some cover ups and conspiracies surrounding 9/11, but these are likely all of the "whoops, I don't want the public, my bosses, etc. to realize how badly I bungled this" variety and don't imply any malevolent intent. Unfortunately cover ups of this sort increase public mistrust and only add plausability to the bigger unlikely conspiracies.
Some people develop these theories simply because they don't like the president, but I think others (like most people) are simply afraid to admit that bad things sometimes happen and that our society, our government, etc. is not as good at protecting us from harm as we would like them to be and believing in a conspiracy theory (i.e. that bad people cause bad things) is more comforting than the alternative.
