I'm in 9th grade & I've hit my period in 6th grade.. and I really havent been growing.
I'm soo short its pretty sad, like 4'7? My parents were pretty short too, my mom right now is 4'11 and i'm not sure about my dad..
So am I doomed forever?
Does drinking milk really help you grow? ._.

Everyone has their own rate at which they grow, so it's really impossible to tell. Most people's growth plates close when they are near 20. I have two sisters that were off the growth charts, and when I was younger, I was just average height. But my father hit his growth spurt when he was 16, and I actually did the same. So you may just have a late growth spurt. You shouldn't worry- yet. :)

to tell you the truth you don't really grow that much after you hit your period. i learned that form a presentation done at my school. and it proves right i was 5 ft. when i hit my period and i still am 5 ft. and as far as drinking milk and helping you grow, it does build strong bones, and its really good for women to get alot of calcium, so drink milk to build strong bones.
