Title something like "The Saturday Club" but not sure about that. Author unknown. About a group of brothers and sisters who pool their allowances. Every Sat. one of siblings takes all the money and has an "adventure". One of the sisters chooses to go to a beauty parlor and cut her hair and has her nails done which is quite scandalous for the time. Can anyone help me identify this book and/or the author?

I *loved* that book! There are actually four in the series: The Saturdays, The Four-Story Mistake, Then There Were Five, and Spiderweb for Two.
