Thanks for all the answers so far. For the 2 who said to export the file, I don't know of any multi-media apps that can import audio from a text file. I've tried to import into Quicktime, but Quicktime doesn't even recognize the text file.

i dont think so because ipods and itunes are connected in some way by the company, and regular mp3 players arent connected.

export the playlist to another audio/media player to get it to your mp3...i hav a mp3 and an ipod its impossible to use itunes for any other mp3 player which isnt an ipod...suggest u use quicktime player and export ur playlist there

I convert all my files to mp3 format and thus it ensures they will be compatiable with all music systems/computers. However, if you have bought music from the Itunes Music store, you only can share it with ipod formatted mp3 players in most cases as it is of the m4a format and locked.

convert your music files from the Apple/iTunes/iPod proprietory AAC format to a format that your non-iPod player will support. Most likely, your non-iPod will support the mp3 format so you might want to try that.

yes you can. just pick the playlist you want to export and select 'export' from the 'file' menu. it will export a tab-delimited text file that you should be able to import into most other apps.

btw other people, please actually read the question before answering...

no Itunes dont work with other mp3 players
