whats the band back in late 1990's or early 2000's who sang across the sea, all i can think of is that maybe it's a band that sounds like the fray.it's not weezer. it was played in australia on rage or video hits but i'm sure it was heard in america too.

Are you sure it isn't Weezer? They have a song called "Across The Sea" from their Pinkerton album which came out in 1996.
