Gymnastics definitely, for me.... Rhythmic to be exact. Cheerleading is not gymnastics; it's its own separate sport.
They're both fun though. Try picking by what your good at. Are you peppy and coopoerative? Cheerleading. If you're more solo and adaptable...gymanstics...

I would say Cheerleading. I mean Cheerleading is gymnastics, You still get both if your get cheerleading plus you get it keep your boobs! I have been cheerleading since I have been seven it all depends on if it's a competition team. If it's sideline I would say do gymnastics but if your on a legit competition cheerleading team I would say the competition teamwork and tumbling can't be beat. I also think being throw in the air and caught beats jumping on a trampoline any day. Just remember u stick with cheerleading and you will always have gymnastics because to be a good cheerleader today you need to be a good tumbler.
Best Of Luck Choosing they are both great sports

Well I'm a guy, 17 years old, and I've been dating a girl who is captain of her cheerleading team for the past 9 months. Having gone to her competitions and travelled and what not, I can speak on behalf of cheerleading and say that it is without a doubt one of the most rewarding sports. The experiences and the pride are overwhelming, but the work is extremely intense and the conditioning can become horrific. You see it in movies and on television and you see these glamorous women making it look effortless, when in reality it is far from it. I know that it is my girlfriend's passion, and many other girls also, but you need to be 100% determined and willing to work hard and condition your body beyond belief.
All the best and hopefully this gave you some insight into the sports, I know it's great and the feeling of accomplishment from winning is beyond overwhelming, but at the same time I've seen loss and it's definetly hard to swallow.
No matter what, all the best and hopefully whatever you choose works out great for you.
Happy New Years,
Vince

cheerleading-im a cheerleader, and it incredibly is extremely common, and you dont ought to be versatile. additionally, understanding a thank you to tumble (handstand, front turn, etc.) facilitates alot. additionally, ur actual. in simple terms given which you do ur makeup like that, doesnt mean you cant be a cheerleader. yet, whilst i replaced into in opposition, we weren't allowed to positioned on makeup, yet everybody did besides, and we didnt get any factors off or something like that. In cheerleading, you ought to be arranged for something. If ur a backspot whilst lifting, if the flyer falls, you ought to have the skill to seize her. If ur a base, you ought to have the skill to do a 0.5, a press, and an extension, yet none of them are difficult, with the aid of fact i'm a base, backspot, AND a frontspot, yet no longer on an analogous time! additionally, im no longer what you could call the skinniest individual, with the aid of fact i weigh alot, and you dont ought to skinny to be a cheerleader, you in basic terms ought to be good, healthful, and you ought to have the skill to smile alot! It hurts after a whilst, yet you will get used to it! So, good success on picking! wish i replaced right into a good help!!
