Your school's guidance counselor will be able to help you get a work permit and might have job leads to local employers that call the school looking for teens to work after school and/or weekend hours. That's how I got through high school. You can also consider your own business whether that's teaching people how to use a computer, writing a newsletter, selling products that you buy wholesale, running a shopping or errand service, or whatever avenue you choose to engage in. There are a number of library books that will offer ideas and case studies of businesses that have worked for others. Check with Junior Achievements (link below) to network with other teens who have their own businesses. Your parents can help you set up a business where you make income and they get sweet tax deductions. Get a business plan written up where again the library comes into play. The Junior Achievements quite possibly has a chapter near you. If you are serious about making money, you can. It's hard work but at your age you just might find yourself as a millionaire by 20. Think I'm joking? There are plenty of people who have done it. Set goals... write them down... and don't give up!!!

parents and then take it where you want to work

mcdonalds,or burger king,bojangles,these places
are more flexable with your schedule.in the sum
mer you get more hours and meet more people.

MySpace has a pretty good jobs page for teens since most of its members are teens. Check it out at:
