Your question leaves some questions especially as to the type of paint on the wall. Generally you can wipe a latex semi-gloss wall down with a damp cloth. I wouldn't do this on a flat latex surface because the paint will come off and you will generally see a noticeable difference on the walls. Personally I would prime the surface with a stain blocker such as Kilz and repaint the wall.

Try nail polish remover only on that spot (use cotton ball or cotton cloth) keep in mind that the sooner you clean the easier. She is lovely and she is an artist. Supply colorful paper and washable crayolas so that she can continue developing her talent. Praise her every time she does a drawing and posted on the fridge. She will get the idea and forget about the wall. Every time you want to remove a behavior offer an alternative. It really works.

I agree with all those who say Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. They are relatively inexpensive - less than $1.00 each. I use it for everything! After I mop the floor, I can get up even more dirt with the eraser. But yes, I have used it for ink on the walls, and it worked for me!!

Magic eraser is an amazing thing! I have also been able to get ink off the walls with a regular pencil eraser.

The Mr. Clean Eraser is your BEST bet, my 3 year old did the same thing, in our new home, it also worked where the movers had scuffed the wall, works on counters and all, remember to wet it first! Good luck!

Hairspray works wonders --spray it directly on the ink and use a soft cloth and a litttle bit of ol fashioned elbow grease. That should be all you need. This also works on ink on clothing as well incase you ever need to know that.

Try using a wet damp cloth. Wipe with care. Don't rub the paint off.
