How do you remove the backseat in a 1997 GrandAM?

I'm trying to change the speakers in the back and need to know how to remove the back seat without breaking it.

Leave the back seat alone. Crawl into the trunk. Lay on your back and look up. You are probably not going to be comfortable but this is the only way to get to the speakers. There may some carpet or trim covering the speakers. If there is pull it out of the way. Usually GM cars have big wire spring clips that hold the speakers in. Otherwise it will be screws. Now you can swap out your speakers.
