The answer is cranial. thoracic is the middle of your back, lumbar is the lower back, cervical is the neck and sacral is lower than the lumbar area. Cranial is in the brain.

I believe that it may be the cranial nerve (which are actually a group of 12 nerves in the brain), as the rest all deal with the back.

a IS the correct answer. All the others ARE spinal nerves. There is one kind of spinal nerve not listed here, the coccygeal nerve. The coccyx is the little tail bone at the end of the sacrum
