I like to whistle. Matter of fact, if I'm in a store with my mother, to this day I can whistle and she will know it's me and turn around and find me. It's easier than saying mom because only she will turn around in the crowd. I've been doing this for like 10 years.
Other than that, I've got a very loud voice and so I just yell if I really need the attention

Id like them to hear the crisp, stereo, snapping thump as I flick their ears simultaneously. It usually get their attention.

I like to whistle. If you do it right you can make an incredibly high pitched whistle. It's not very loud.
