there was a show on cartoon network and it had a dog who was afriad of eveything and then there were 2 grandparents... and cheaping things happened to the dog??

Courage the Cowardly dog. It sort of wierded me out. There was always a ghost or evil power which would take over and the dog would protect, Murriel (Old lady). She was nice and the Farmer dude was mean. He was cheap and mean. His name was I think Eustace. I have set the link to the CN site for the show.
