This weekend Bears vs. Packers will be a good game. But will Lovie Smith keep to his promise and beat the Packers? Or will logic prevail and will they reserve the key players for the games that matter in the playoffs?

I am a Packer fan but will concede that the Bears should beat the Packers but will they really want to bother? Will the rivalry prevail? Or will the post season be the ultimate goal? What do you think?

I think the reserves will play and the Packers will win in a close game. Lovie will want to rest his key guys and won't want to risk injury. If they didn't have the Conference wrapped up or were working on a perfect record, he would play his starters. I think the people in the Bears' front office care more about a run at the Superbowl than one game against the Packers that really doesn't mean much in respect to their chances at a Superbowl.

Its actually going to be a very close game. The Bears are obviously resting most of their starters for the playoffs because they have already locked up Home Field Advantage for the whole playoffs. The Packers will try very hard still because their is a very slim chance that they can still get in the playoffs with a win and ALOT of help. I wouldn't be suprised to see Hester playing some offense and defense as well as kick returns for the Bears so they can see how he works into the system. i would expect Green Bay to edge out the Bears in this meaningless game for Chicago.

Being a Rams fan that I am, I would hope to see the Bears play their starters for at least one half. I believe that they will do that and the score will be Bears 35 Packers 19. I think it will be a little of both the PACKER vs. BEAR rivalry will continue but he also want to save them for the second half for the 'games that matter'.

...or will Brett Favre and company just go out there and beat the Bears like I think they're supposed to.
I am NOT A BELIEVER when it comes to the Bears.
And I do think that Brett Favre in the playoffs could shake up the playoff picture in the NFC.
This is ALL or NOTHING; WIN or GO HOME.
I think Brett could send a couple of them home.

I think they'll play their starters for the first half, then rest them. By then the game should be over, in the Bears favor of course.

The Bears should win easily, even if they go with reserves.
