does anyone know the hospital name or the city, state scrubs is known for.

It's Sacred Heart hospital which is made up. It also never specifies a city, but makes a couple of odd refernces through songs and whatnot that it is in Chicago. Here is a link where I learned all that stuff. Also, I love Scrubs.

Sacred Heart Hospital is an unreal place set in a fictional unnamed city and state.
The name Sacred Heart was the school that Christa Miller attended. (she is married to writer Bill Lawrence)
By the way, I hate to disappoint im_32_flavors, but new episodes of Scrubs don't start again until Thursday January 4. Tomorrow's episode is a repeat.
