I'm 12 years old and i am 5'5. I am the tallest person in my grade and sometimes i feel weird. Is this too tall... or just right.... all my friends say that they want to be tall, but i wish i were a little shorter.

No, that's fine. My mom was 5'5 at 11! And I know someone who at 13 was 5'8! Chill out. You're normal.

When I was 12 I was about your height. I wound up being 6'. I hated being taller when I was your age because all the boys were shorter and I felt awkward. I've since learned that when you're tall you're admired. Men DO like tall women and it's got benefits too, like being able to reach anything. No, you're not too tall, don't let anyone make you feel bad about yourself. Hold your head up high! Being tall is absolutely wonderful!

I'm 12 and I'm 5'4 3/4" so very nearly 5'5"...I have some friends who are taller than me, and some who are shorter, but in general I think I am tall for my age. I like being tall though, because I hate looking up at anyone!!! If you don't like being tall...wear ballet flats. But keep your posture good!!!

I'm tall for my age, too. Of like 700 or 800 people in my grade, I'm like the 5th tallest. Btw, thats not really a question. I guess people don't care if guys are really tall.

Im 18 and Im 5"11 when i was your age i was like 5"5 too dont worry we are not the same and maybe being tall is what make you unique. Many people wish they were taller so just give up and relax...

Some people just grow faster than others. Chances are you'll just stop at this height.
When I was in the fifth grade, I was tallest in my class, but by the time I reached senior year in high school, I was among the shortest. :)

When i was twelve i was 5'3 so that is only 2 inches taller then me but now im 14 and i am 5'7 and i love it but i used to wish i shorter but i learned that you have to be happy with who you are instead of wishing you were some one else you just have to take what God gave you and work with it <3

Im 14 and im 5'8 dont worry be proud of ur height. Trust me ur not alone because all tall ppl want to be shorter and short ppl want to be taller. That's the way of life! Don't worry ppl u will meet will be tall im sure wen u get to high school everything changes dont worry

I was always the tallest person in my grade!The guys will eventually catch up with you. I always thought of it as I'll never be fat and you should too..!And most guys like tall girls!Haha

I reached 5'11 when I was 12, and leveled off at 6 ft as a adult. I think you probably had your growth spurt before everyone else and they will catch up soon. 5'5 is not a bad height its average.
