Some people just get a late start. Some people don't send cards until they get one from you. Some people...forgot they didn't send them?
Who knows? It's snail mail remember? There could have been people putting cards in a mail box on Christmas day!

Maybe they got them off a little late, give them a break. Or maybe its because it's the thought that counts better late then never. AND it could be because the mail was so bogged down they are arriving late due to the mail system being overwhelmed.
