NO!
Goodness! Do Not Do This!
This is not a good idea.
Your Christmas tree is not kindling, it will ignite quickly & rage unbeliviably.
If you want to burn it, do so in your drive way (not close to your car) and stand back. It will burn very quickly & very brightly.
Again, Do Not Put in Your Fireplace...this is very dangerous.
Also, pine is not advisable for fireplaces as it creates alot of creosote, which is also a fire-hazard. Hardwoods only in the fireplace.

It isn't okay at all! The needles will spark and possibly ignite your house, and they will also create A LOT of smoke. Your tree is very alive too, and wood that hasn't dried won't burn. However, if you have an outdoor firepit, chop the tree up and throw it on there. Don't be surprised when the needles burn though--they snap and pop like firecrackers.

No!!!. Soft woods like from a pine christmas tree produce creosote that can buildup in a chmney. Build-up of creosote in a chimney is a potential fire hazard and can cause a chimney fire.
Dried pine or cedar needles are also a hazard since they burn quickly and with a lot of heat.
The best woods to use are hard woods like oak, cedar or mesquite.

It be cool but not very smart. Burning twigs and ashes can set other houses and things outside on fire. I wouldn't unless your at someone else's house.

You can, but be aware that it will send off a lot, and I do mean alot, of sparks. the needles contain a lot of oil, which burns and pops like crazy. So use that fire screen.
