Considering that you can only get a few CDs for fifty bucks, which three or four CDs would be at the top of your list of gotta-have's? What would make these releases the best of whatever's out there? I would like to get a feel for the range of music that's out there that may or not be well-known. (And no record-club links, please! Those suck so badly.)

I would get soundtracks because they are the mixes that we are unable to make and they are often fluid and complete. I would get 2 soundtracks, one greatest hits cd, one favorite artist cd, and the cd of one of my favorite songs.

But... I think $50.00 just wouldn't be enough. One CD or combination of any of the above would be $50.00 Plus.
