Think about the tune. It sounds pretty sad. Make it kinda slow but not so slow that it is too boring. Keep the following in mind when choosing the lyrics.
How did it happen?
Did you get separated?
Was it a good/best friend?
How long have you known each other?
Do you think you can become friends again?
Is there any way to fix this?
Be sure not to get carried away with too much angry lyrics.

You can be like alot of songs and have a one sided convo for a background meaning to the song.
