I know that Georgia and Alabama don't allow alcohol sales on Sunday. I heard that in Florida you can buy alcohol on Sunday, but after 1pm? Are there any other states that have restrictions on buying alcohol on Sundays? LINK ME something or help with the info!!

Most of these laws were enacted a long long time ago (Prohibition era). This particular law is often seen in the Bible Belt states. It's intention is to make sure that people are going to church instead of getting drunk. It's a stupid law, but they have never been changed so that's the way it is.

These types of laws are referred to as "Blue Laws" (alcohol restrictions being just one aspect of them). You can do some searching on Google about this stuff.

Mississippi doesn't.......also there are what is called "dry counties" where no alcohol is allowed to be sold period of any kind......lol unless from a bootlegger...Get this though, you are allowed 1 beer or wine in your home for "personal" use but over than that you are breaking the law...IF you buy from a "wet" county to bring into the dry county and get stopped you can get a ticket for possession of alcohol in your vehicle and fined...
