I like tracks three and four. The dark dissonance is really cool. Tool started getting too artistic starting with the album right before 10K days, perhaps that's from the influence of APC, who knows. In my oppinion, Undertow was the best followed shortly by AEnima. Laterius was ok, but without Schism, I don't know if the album would hold its own.

not a disappointment but I wasn't excited about it either.
Aenima was a great album.

are you kidding? well worth the wait. all of their work is phenominal. did you see them live for this album's tour? it was incredible, just like always. so much passion.
by the way -- lateralus is my favorite, such a beautiful masterpiece
