No. The person trusted you and if you gave them your word you wouldnt tell then you shouldnt tell. A person's word doesnt mean as much as it did because of all the lying and cheating that happens. You need to stick by what you say.

I never tell when someone asks me not to or even if I don't think I should. If you tell, you could lose the confidence or friendship of the person who asked you not to!
