No. unfortunately not. Most women feel movement anywhere from 16-20 weeks, but you can't see it from the outside until much further along. You can't even feel the light thumps from the outside until about 22-26 weeks. When you do feel it for the first time, it is a flutter....like a butterfly in your belly. It is usually felt way down below your belly button and is most commonly felt when you are at rest. Most often, you aren't quite sure if that is what you thought you felt but after a couple of times, then you realize it. It continues to happen during the day, but if you are up and moving around, you won't notice.
You won't feel hard lumps or bumps in your belly for wuite sometime...then around the early 3rd trimester, you can make out knees and feet and little buns! Very cool, but you have to be patient.
Good luck and Congrats!

Hmmm... It sounds like it, I think. You're right at the time where you should start feeling the baby move. But I don't remember actually seeing it until later. Are you really thin? I'm not fat (well now I am because I'm 35wks lol) but I'm not real skinny. So if you're skinny maybe you would see it that early. But yeah I'm sure that's what it was. Don't worry it get's a lot better. Now I can actually tell when she's got her butt pushing out of me. That looks neat.

I would say so. If it is your first pregnancy you will be less likely to know what it is you are feeling, so you tend to pass it off. I am on my second pregnancy (the first 6 years ago) and I am now 19 weeks, I can feel when he moves around and when he presses on a certain spot, it will become very hard and bulge. You will feel it more and more often, but it takes time. Congratulations!!!
